I was also wondering if Exchange Server 2007 will run on a 64-bit Windows Server '03?

Different versions of Exchange Server require different server operating systems. When Exchange Server 2003 was first released, it could run on Windows 2000 Server with all of the current (at that time) service packs (SPs) installed or a 32-bit version of Windows Server 2003. When Exchange Server 2007 was released, it required a 64-bit version of Windows Server 2003; it can now also run on Windows Server 2008. And Exchange 2010 will run on Windows Server 2008 with a minimum of SP2 installed or Windows Server 2008 R2.
